But if you want to share files within the 5GB limit, your best option would be using Mail Drop. Though iOS Mail limits attachments are only 20MB, the Mail Drop feature allows you to send attachments up to 5GB in Apple Mail via direct email link. But remind your receiver to immediately download it, since the file only lasts 30 days after the link is shared, before being automatically erased.

  2. Open ImageCapture by pressed Command + Space Bar => type its name, or open from Launchpad or App folder.
  3. Unlock your iPhone => wait a few moments => you will see the pictures inside ImageCapture => select one image or if you want to select more than one, press Command.
  4. Last, click Import => check those images in Mac’s Download folder.
